Top 15 for the French

Three Frenchmen, opposed to players from the Top 15 in the world, are also unlikely to survive this first round: Alexandre Müller (100th) opposed to the Italian Jannik Sinner (8th), eighth finalist last year, Constant Lestienne (69th) against the Russian Karen Khachanov (11th), eighth finalist also in 2022, and Benoît Paire (149th) who will face the British Cameron Norrie (14th). In addition, Gaël Monfils (386th) will have a complicated first round against the Argentine Sebastian Baez (44th) and Caroline Garcia (5th), lacking confidence, will make her debut against the Chinese Xiyu Wang (62nd).

The task also looks complicated for Arthur Son (112th) ahead of Argentina's Alejandro Davidovich (34th). In total, 27 Tricolores (18 for men and 9 for women) are engaged in the main draws of the Parisian Major. They can be joined by six others (3 men, 3 women) who play the third round of qualifying.
