Xu Jicheng, vice chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association, was appointed as the new chairman of CBA.
At the board meeting and shareholders meeting of CBA held on May 5, the board of directors of the company expressed its gratitude to Yao Ming, chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association, for his outstanding contributions and dedication to promoting the development of the CBA league and leading the progress of CBA during his concurrently serving as chairman of CBA Company, and will continue to improve the level of league competition and brand influence with the support of the Chinese Basketball Association and Chairman Yao Ming, and make more efforts for the development of China's basketball industry.
