At the Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof in February, Linn Persson sensationally won two individual medals and thus she had her best season ever.

At the same time, she had a lot of pain in both her shoulder and groin, and she has had to adapt and shorten her training during the year.

"The shoulder has been quite spongy, I haven't had any real power in it," says Linn Persson, who is now rehabilitating at its best.

– It feels quite good for this year to know that I will not be able to follow a plan like everyone else does, but that it can still go well.

"Can train normally again in the autumn"

One operation she had in her groin. Doctors found a hole in the abdominal wall during surgery. It is now largely healed, however, the operation she did in her left shoulder is nowhere near healed.

– Of course it will affect this season, I think that in the autumn she can train normally again, then she will be able to run and like that, but just using the upper body will take time, says physiotherapist Marcus Bystedt to SVT Sport

In Holmenkollen in March, Persson also sprained his foot and it has not healed properly, which means that the biathlete now gets around with a supportive boot on his foot.
