Moroccan young Barcelona defender Chadi Riad received an offer to move to the Eredivisie on loan, to gain more experience before returning to the "Catalan" club.

The newspaper "Sport" (Sport) Spanish, that the club RKC Waalwijk, rival in the Eredivisie, expressed his willingness to sign Riad (19 years), on loan during the next season.

At the same time, the Moroccan defender does not want to stay with Barcelona's reserve team, so his exit to the Eredivisie will be beneficial for the player and the club, in order to gain more minutes and experience.

The Spanish newspaper says that Waalwijk is closely following the development of the player, who has prioritized the renewal of his contract with Barcelona, before embarking on a new experience.

Waalwijk are ninth in the Eredivisie table with 41 points, with just two rounds to go until the end of the season there.

Shadi Riad has become a household name among Barcelona fans, after appearing in one match with the Catalan team, in this season's La Liga competitions.

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez pushed Shadi Riad in the "Blaugrana" match against Osasuna on the eighth of November 2022, which took place at the "Alsadaar" stadium, and on that day the player entered instead of his colleague Pedri Gonzalez, but he did not appear after any meeting.

At the international level, Chadi Riad received an invitation from Morocco coach Walid Regraki to represent the Atlas Lions in the last international break.

Chadi Riad was available for Morocco in the friendlies against Brazil and Peru, but did not play a single minute.
