The World Series, the world's highest level of triathlon, was held in Yokohama, and Tokyo Paralympic silver medalist Hideo Uda finished fourth in the paratriathlon.

The world's highest peak world series was held in cold and rainy conditions from the morning on a course around Yamashita Park in Yokohama City, with the participation of leading athletes from overseas.

In the paratriathlon, a 750-meter swim, half of the Olympic distance, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run were held, and in the PTS4 class for men's motor dysfunction, Uda competed in the Tokyo Paralympic silver medal winner.

Uda was sixth out of nine competitors in the first swim, but he closed the gap to the top rider in the second overall time on the bike, catching up on the last run and closing in on the third-place rider, but he was 9 seconds behind and finished fourth with a time of 6 hour, 2 minute and 3 seconds.

Uda said, "In swimming, I think I was able to swim well and show the results of the training camp.

The winner was Alexis Ancancan of France, the gold medalist at the Tokyo Games.
