The Billie Jean King Cup finals will be held in Seville, Spain, this year as well as in 2024. It will be played from November 7 to 12. The ITF has confirmed that an option exists for the 2025 edition. A total of twelve nations will participate in the competition.

The Spanish city of Seville (south) will host the final phase of the Billie Jean King Cup 2023 (7-12 November) and the next, announced Wednesday the International Tennis Federation (ITF), organizer of the women's national team competition. Meanwhile, the ITF announced that it had given Poland the invitation to the 2023 finals.

The twelve participating nations will therefore be Switzerland, winner 2022, and Australia, finalist last year, as well as the nine nations who went through the qualifications in April (France, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Spain and the United States) and Poland invited.

Draw on May 24

The twelve teams will initially be grouped into four groups of three, following a draw on May 24, the ITF said. The winner of each group will advance to the knockout semi-finals. Under the terms of the agreement between the ITF and the region of Andalusia, Sevilla also has "an option" for the 2025 stage of the BJK Cup finals (formerly Fed Cup), the ITF statement said.
