Bayern Munich, the giants who have dominated the Bundesliga championship for the last ten seasons, are approaching the scenario of coming out with a zero season for the first time since 2011-2012.

In the 2011-2012 season, Borussia Dortmund won the domestic double (league and cup in Germany), while the "Bavarians" lost the Champions League final, to Chelsea on penalties.

Bayern's administrative crises – including the dismissal of former coach Julian Nagelsmann and the signing of compatriot Thomas Tuchel – were reflected in the results of the "Bavarian" team, which declined in a shocking way under Tuchel.

Bayern signed Tuchel on 25 March 2023, and the team was a real contender for all the championships of the 2022-2023 season.

Since that date, Tuchel has led Bayern Munich in 7 matches in all competitions, winning two, drawing two, and losing 3 times, but the team, which was a rival on the three fronts (Bundesliga, German Cup, Champions League), is on the verge of losing them all.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" confirms that there is no doubt that Bayern Munich is living in a comprehensive crisis.

"After the team's exit from the German Cup and then the Champions League, the surprise defeat against Mainz gave Borussia Dortmund the top of the Bundesliga."

The results on the pitch are only part of a season full of turmoil behind the scenes, starting with Manuel Neuer's objection to the dismissal of his favorite goalkeeping coach, through the sacking of Nagelsmann, and finally Senegalese Sadio Mane's physical assault on teammate Leroy Sane.

Meanwhile, the trio of Tuchel, the club's chief executive, Alever Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic have a month to save their jobs.

Bayern's management and general assembly plan to meet on May 22, 2023, in order to discuss the team's situation in the current season (2022-2023), and the reforms it needs in the next season (2023-2024).

He directed "Can" harsh criticism of the players after the loss from Mainz, especially that the team conceded 3 goals in a quarter of an hour, and said, "We played a disastrous second half, there are 11 players on the field, they have to work hard in order to achieve the goals of this club."

Tuchel's reign began in a great way, as Bayern Munich regained the top of the Bundesliga from Borussia Dortmund, after beating it 4-2, Saturday (the first of April 2023), at the top of the 26th round of the "Bundesliga".

The team's first shock with Tuchel was their surprise exit from the German Cup, days after regaining the top spot in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich did not take advantage of the ground and the crowd when they hosted Freiburg in the quarter-finals, and lost at the Allianz Arena 1-2, on the fourth of the same month.

The "Bavarian" giants quickly regained their balance, and were rehabilitated against the same team (Freiburg), but this time in the league championship and beat them 1-0.

But days later, Bayern put their first foot out of the Champions League, with a heavy 0-3 loss to Manchester City in the first leg of the quarter-finals, followed by a second foot a week later after a 1-1 draw in Germany, thus officially saying goodbye to the second tournament in 3 weeks.

Bayern's suffering was exacerbated by their failure to win two consecutive league games, against Hoffenheim 1-1 and Mainz 1-3, and Borussia Dortmund took advantage of these two results to remove them from the lead, after beating Eintracht Frankcourt 4-0.
