The match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid this Sunday left a new controversy in the stands of the Camp Nou. In the last minutes of the first half a Barça fan tore off a Spanish flag with the Atletico shield that had been placed by a red-and-white fan.
The owner of the flag struggled to recover it while many of the local fans shouted at him for having placed it. Minutes later the security members of the stadium appeared to evict the Atletico supporter and the woman who accompanied him from their localities.
In the videos shared on Twitter, both are seen leaving the stands while being rebuked by Barcelona fans.
Atletico fans have expressed their outrage on social media. "These are the 'values' of FC Barcelona, they are more than a club yes...", wrote the user who shared the videos recorded from a lower stand.
Barcelona ended up taking the match (1-0), with a goal from Ferran Torres, and took a new step to proclaim itself champion of the League. In the absence of eight days, Xavi Hernández's team leads Real Madrid by 11 points. Meanwhile, Atletico remains third, five points behind the Whites after the defeat at the Camp Nou.
