Barça have already closed the financing agreement for the new Camp Nou. As announced by the club through a statement, funds of 1,450 million euros have been obtained by 20 investors to face both the remodeling of the sports venue and the construction of the Espai Barça "without patrimonial guarantee of the club or mortgage of the Stadium". Partners such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, JLL, Pérez-Llorca, DLA Piper, Key Capital Partners, Legends and IPG 360, among others, have participated in the formalization of the plan and, according to the entity, "confirms the credibility of the Club within the financial markets".

The effects of the Negreira case have been felt in this case in the average interest that the operation will have. The reputational blow that has brought to light this scandal, as well as the rise in interest rates, have caused the average interest on financing to climb to 5.5%. More than double, in this case, the 2.5% obtained by Real Madrid when facing the remodeling works of the Santiago Bernabéu.

The financing, which according to the entity has been closed "with some of the main prestigious financial institutions in the international arena", will have a structure organized by sections to five, seven, nine, 20 and 24 years, with a grace period that will reach until the completion of the remodeling works of the stadium. As soon as they are finished, the club estimates that about 247 million euros will be paid annually, more than double the amount billed, for example, in the 2018-19 campaign. The remodeling works of the stadium, which will have a total of 110,000 seats, will be carried out in this case by the Turkish construction company Limark and will start this summer, although some operations have already been carried out, such as the demolition of part of the south goal stand.

The structure of the deal, which will be managed by Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, will consist of three tranches. The first of these includes a bank loan of 500 million euros as well as an amount from investors and will be used to repay the bridge loan granted at the time by Goldman Sachs. The second, meanwhile, will consist of a bond issue for 500 million euros. And the third finally, will be 400 million euros more that will come from a total of 20 investors.
