Megan Brakes is an agent for, among others, the national team's and Hammarby's Matilda Vinberg. She believes that there has recently been a change in how big clubs view talent and what questions they ask about the young players.

"They ask how they think the player can handle a transition mentally. How it will be without family. If it's the first move and stuff. Which I actually appreciate because it's a very, very important point. My guess is that they have learned a bit from players who have arrived too early, she says and believes that Swedish players are attractive abroad.

"I was recently at clubs in Spain and they love Swedish players. Nordic players adapt quickly to the environment with the team and the Swedes behave well out there.

When do players most often want to make the leap to Europe?

"It's different for everyone. Some may want to reach the national team before they dare to take the move. Some want to experience different environments or have a dream about a specific team. Then there are many who have waited until they feel safe and stable in Allsvenskan, which has been a good league and then take the next step. I think that's a pretty mature and clever way of looking at it.

What type is Matilda Vinberg?

"Matilda is very mature for her age and I think she could handle anything. But at the same time, she is young and has a lot to learn. And I don't feel like she's in a hurry anywhere," Megan Brakes said.

How much does the risk of her disappearing increase if she is included in the World Cup squad?

"I don't think it matters that much for the interest. She's done so much in the last year that people have their eye on her anyway. The big clubs have followed her through the youth national teams so I'm not worried about whether the question will come or not.
