Växjö stood up quite decently in the first half and had a 2–1 deficit until the half-time rest.

But in the second half, Hammarby shifted into a higher gear and sent three quick goals in the first 15 minutes. And one of them was really neat. Matilda Vinberg had taken a few steps into Växjö's court when she perceived that goalkeeper Louise Högell was standing a little too far out and pulled a long shot that found its way into the goal.

"I hear Kyra (Cooney-Cross) yelling 'shoot' and then I look up and see that it's pretty open so I took a chance and luckily it went in," Vinberg told Viaplay.

In the end, Hammarby won the match with 6–1, worth noting is that the Japanese new acquisition Maika Hamano scored her first two Allsvenskan goals.

"I think we solve it very well and it's nice to have a three-pointer," Vinberg said.

With the three-pointer, Hammarby tops the table after three wins in three attempts. Linköping and IFK Norrköping are also undefeated, but have played one game less than Bajen.

– We are aware that there will be tougher matches ahead and we are prepared to take on that challenge, says Vinberg.
