National team captain Caroline Seger was substituted after just over an hour in the match against Norway, which ended 3-3. But after a melee, she was seated and only ten minutes after she was substituted, she had to get off again.

"Caroline got a feeling in her calf in the match situation that prompted the change. After further investigation, it is clear that it is a muscle injury and Caroline will now begin rehabilitation at home in the club team. We look forward with confidence to having Caroline back on the pitch as soon as possible, says Ebrahimi to SVT Sport in connection with the international match.

Seger is now believed to be gone for a few weeks, her club's sporting director Therese Sjögran announces.

Victory has been plagued with major injury concerns since Euro 2022 and recently made a comeback in club and national teams.
