The cross-country team has for some time been in dialogue with Linn Svahn, Maja Dahlqvist and Frida Karlsson about a return to the national team.

During the Swedish Championship competitions in Kalix, the leaders gathered the entire national team, including the breakaway trio, for a big meeting.

"Above all, it is clear that we must create a climate where the athletes feel that they are seen, heard and acknowledged," cross-country manager Lars Öberg told Expressen at the time.

"The dialogues are in full swing"

According to Frida Karlsson's mother and manager, Mia Karlsson, the trio's goal is to once again become part of the national team.

"Her wish is to be part of the team. Also Linn and Maja, and that's how it has been all the way – provided it's the best arrangement presented. Those dialogues are in full swing, she tells DN and continues:

"I think everyone hopes for that. Ski Sweden is absolutely doing best. But there are a lot of meetings now, they make different demands and it is a process that is ongoing.
