Pixbo started the first semi-final best and about a quarter of an hour into the first period came the first goal. Axina Pettersson put the ball in the net, played by Eliska Krupnova. It was Pettersson's fourth goal of the playoffs.

Pixbo continued to press immediately after the goal, but Rönnby resisted.

However, it was a game in one half and much expectedly, Pixbo also scored 2-0. Cajsa Elm struck with a nice backhand assisted by Klara Loneberg.

Quick Rönnby goals

Rönnby stepped up in the second period. And just over eight minutes into the period, Rönnby won the ball high, the ball then ended up in the hands of Saga Emtell who pushed it there with his back turned to the goal.

Not even a minute had passed of the final period before Alma Karlsson hit a long shot straight into the goal. Signed for Rönnby. And just a minute later, Rönnby would complete the turnaround. Ellen Hansson was attentive and pushed the 3-2 goal and the turnaround was a fact.

Rönnby resisted, despite heavy pressure from Pixbo. With one minute left, Pixbo picked out the goalkeeper and Rönnby could decide in an empty goal cage.

But it would still be dramatic. Seconds later, Pixbo reduced to 4-3 via Elm. But time was too short and Rönnby won the first semi-final with 4-3.

After the game, Pixbo's coach Jonas Gustafsson was less pleased.

"They have two floating targets in the third peride where they turn. That's probably the only thing they create, he says in Expressen's broadcast.

It was the first of five semi-finals where the winner then meets the winner between Team Thorén and Falun in the final.
