It was a real goal celebration when Wolfsburg faced Werder Bremen on Sunday. 4-0 was the score when Rebecka Blomqvist was substituted after an hour and then the Swede accounted for a genuine hat-trick.

"It was very nice. Fun to play again and always fun to score. It means a lot, after quite tough weeks with playing time and things like that, she says to SVT Sport.

"Clearly sad to leave"

The lack of playing time has not only meant tough weeks for Blomqvist. It is also part of the fact that she decided to leave Wolfsburg after the current season, which Bohuslänningen was the first to write about. However, it is not yet clear where she will go next.

"I look at what's best for me and what's best for my development, but of course it's sad to leave. But there is full focus on the matches and competitions that are left and I look forward to the spring, says Blomqvist.
