The Catalan club issued a stern warning to its traditional rival and direct chaser Real Madrid, the defending champions, and increased the intensity of pressure on him, as he will be required to earn three points to raise the morale of his players before their visit to the "Spotify Camp Nou" stadium on Wednesday, in the Clasico semi-final second leg of the Copa del Rey after losing the first leg 0-1.

Barcelona played the match in the absence of Danish defender Andreas Christensen, midfielders Pedri, Dutch Frenkie de Jong and French winger Ousmane Dembele due to injury and Brazilian Rafinha due to suspension, while captain Sergio Busquets and defender Alejandro Balde sat on the bench.
