In anticipation of the World Cups that will start in Australia and New Zealand in July, the Nadeshiko Japan are scheduled to play two warm-up matches in Europe next month, both against Portugal and Denmark, who will participate in the World Cup.

The Japan Football Association has announced its 7-man squad for the two matches, including midfielder HASEGAWA Yui, who plays for Manchester City in the English Super League, and forward IWABUCHI Mana, who also plays for Tottenham in England.
