Things swung sharply in the sixth quarter-final between Timrå and Örebro. After Sebastian Hartmann started the scoring with a long shot into the crossbar, the teams accounted for every other hit. Örebro thus equalized both to 1-1 and later to 2-2, both in somewhat strange ways. Then just over the second period was played and a decision remained.

With just over nine minutes left to play, it was 3-2. On the power play, Emil Pettersson scored the third goal of the game. However, it would soon prove not enough for victory, but before that Hartmann had scored his second goal of the evening, becoming a big hero with his three points. A goal that thus became decisive.

Örebro got a consolation puck in with two seconds left of the game but 4-3 still meant victory for Timrå, and a seventh game is required to decide the quarterfinal series.
