Now Fähndrich is not a distance skier of rank and she felt tired even before the start.

"I had no energy left until today, I was tired after a long season and also drained after all the emotions yesterday," Fähndrich told SVT Sport.

There's talk of an incident during the race?

"I had a much higher speed than Emma (Ribom) and got very close and the ski tip came at her binding. She had to open the binding and remove the ski but then we were able to ride as usual again," Fähndrich said.

Ribom tells more dramatically about the incident in which they pulled and tore at each other for a long time to get loose.

"We were stuck in each other and thought for a long time about how to get loose. Her pods came under my binding and out the other side, her tip came out the other side and we stood and tore for quite some time. I've never been through anything like this and there and then I mostly wanted to cry," says Ribom, who feels good when the incident happened.

"I think I'll laugh about it in the future," Ribom says with a smile after finishing 36th.
