The Damallsvenska premiere has been completed, but the players are still without a collective agreement. There is still a deadlock in the negotiations between the Players' Association and Elitfotboll Dam – something that has prompted the players in Rosengård and Piteå to act.

Directly on kick-off in Friday's opening game, both teams' players gathered in a ring, something that was met with crowd applause.

"We show that we are united with the players' association. We want to get better, says Piteå's Hanna Andersson.

Olivia Schough on the manifestation:

"We are tired of the situation we are in. Even though we met in a match, we were able to show that we stand together. We showed everyone where we stand on the issue," she said.

How does it affect you that there is no collective agreement in place?

"Of course it affects a lot. There is a lot of talk in the media and in the team. Of course, it's not something we think is fun.

Rosengård's team captain Caroline Seger, who made a comeback in the premiere, wants to see change.

"We would like the collective agreement to be resolved. For it to be solved, they need to listen to us. It's up to us to decide who's going to represent us, and that's the players' association," Seger said.
