In the second game of the sixth day of the Senbatsu High School Baseball Tournament, Yamanashi Gakuin defeated Himi High School in Toyama, who are participating in the 6st century tournament, 2-21 to advance to the third round.

Yamanashi Gakuin trailed by one run in the second inning with no outs at third base on an infield hit to short by captain and No. 1 Shindo Ten.

With one out at third base, No. 2 Omori hit a timely hit to turn the game around.

They added one more run each in the fourth and eighth innings.

Starting pitcher Kengo Hayashi threw a complete game after the second inning, without a single foreball.

Yamanashi Gakuin defeated Himi 5-1 to advance to the third round.

Yamanashi Gakuin advanced past the second round for the first time throughout the spring and summer.

Himi, who played in the 7st century for the first time in the Toyama Prefecture team, took the lead in the first inning by taking a hit on an opponent's error, but after the second inning, the batting line lacked energy and could not overcome the score.
