This weekend, the World Cup season in cross-country skiing ends. It also means the first races for William Poromaa after the World Cup. The 22-year-old Swede caught a cold after the world championship in Planica.

"It will be tough, but fun," Poromaa says of the sprint relay that awaits tomorrow.

But already yesterday, Poromaa started after the disease. The 22-year-old was eliminated in the semi-finals of the show sprint in Helsinki.

- In the quarter of an hour, they were about to be ironed out. I'm glad I'm alive today," Poromaa says jokingly and continues:

"I had barely moved before, I had just been lying on the couch. But it felt okay anyway. It was my first speed session since the five-mile at the World Championships, so it was a big jump start. It was lucky that I survived.
