Dejan Kulusevski has had a season at Tottenham that has been up and down. After the team at the weekend dropped a 3-1 lead to 3-3 against Southampton, manager Antonio Conte went out and criticised the players and the club at the ensuing press conference for a lack of winning mentality.

- What he said has to stand for him. I know who I am and what I've put into it. I can look myself in the mirror and know I'm doing my best even if it's not enough all the time," Kulusevski said.

What about when one's coach goes criticizing his players publicly?

"He's not happy and we have to accept that. But that's for him. I always give everything for the club I play in.

There is much to suggest that he will be fired now. How do you see it?

"It's like life. We'll see what happens. He has been important to my career and will be a great person in my football career. If that happens, it's going to be boring, but as a footballer, you have to be ready for anything," Kulusevski said.
