Gavi is perhaps one of the most aggressive players in La Liga, and that ferocity has turned him into a decisive and indispensable player in Barcelona's squad.

The young midfielder doesn't fear any player, fear any confrontation, or be intimidated by any opponent, but that sometimes leads him to trouble as well.

During the "Clasico Earth" between Barcelona and Real Madrid on Sunday, the match that ended in Barca's victory at the "Camp Nou" 2-1, Gavi did not receive a yellow card despite the controversial shot with Real Madrid's Dani Ceballos.

As the game entered the final minutes, Ceballos and Gavi were taking the lead after the Real Madrid midfielder tried to extract the ball from Robert Lewandowski, only for Gavi to intervene and beat Ceballos in the 89th minute of the clash, when the score would have indicated a 1-1 draw.

Gavi's intervention may have been Ceballos' revenge for an incident in the previous Clasico, in which Ceballos was seen pulling Gavi's hair from behind.

Either way, Gavi should consider himself lucky, because he was not punished for his act.
