The Japan National Football Team will play their first training match
since last year's World Cup Qatar against Uruguay at the National Stadium in Tokyo on 3 March and
Colombia in Osaka on 24 March.

In preparation for these two matches, the players started training in Chiba City, and on the first day of the tournament on the 3th, 28 players participated, including ENDO Wataru and ITAKURA Kou, who participated in last year's World Cup, as well as Bangunagande Kashifu, who was selected for the first time.

Under the watchful eye of coach MORIYASU Hajime, the players worked up a sweat with light menus such as running and passing the ball.

About 2 fans packed the venue and responded by raising their hands when they were called out.

The 26-year-old Itakura, who is the oldest defender in the squad, said, "I feel that our generation has to lead the way, so I am humbled. As a new start, we will play one match at a time."

After this, the Japan National Team will gradually gather players from overseas teams, and the 1-member squad will continue to make adjustments in Chiba City until 1nd.

On the day before the match, the team will hold an official training session at the National Stadium on 26 before the match against Uruguay.
