This Monday promises to be a day of rest for the Blues of the XV of France.

After their historic match at Twickenham, they can still win the Six Nations Tournament but it will also depend on the course of the Irish who beat Scotland and consolidated their place as leaders.

After the euphoria of victory, the Blues followed the result of the Scotland / Ireland match, in the Eurostar which brought them back to Paris on Sunday.

A match that ended in an Irish victory, which does not suit the men of Fabien Galthié.

Because since their defeat in Dublin last month, they are no longer masters of their destiny, and depend on an Irish underperformance which does not come.

But the coach wants to believe it.

"Despite our defeat in Ireland, we are here"

"We are in a position to keep the trophy," says Fabien Galthié.

"We will do the accounts on the last day. It was very important to be able to play the last match to win it, to return to the Stade de France in the middle of our audience thinking that we can still win the tournament. Despite our defeat in Ireland, we are here!"

The last match of the Six Nations Tournament will be Saturday at the Stade de France against the Welsh.

In case of victory, the Blues, to keep the trophy, will then have to hope that the Irish fall at home against the English.

And this is one of the questions that will arise this week: are the English able to recover so quickly from the knockdown received this weekend?
