It was an eventful first period between Leksand and Rögle.
Mikael Ruohomaa started by splashing in 1-0 after barely two minutes of play.
And after that, Rögle's Ludvig Larsson went on a match penalty for hitting Leksand's goalkeeper Mantas Armali's head in a situation behind the goal.
No goal during the powerplay game for Leksand, but when Rögle got a chance in the powerplay ten minutes later, 2-0 would come when Oskar Lang came in a turn of the game and hit the post, and Patrik Norén poked in the rebound.
And it wasn't over there.
Even Rögle would get a puck in before the period was over, through Anton Bengtsson on the power play.
It would be, despite Leksand's great dominance, the start of a turnaround.
William Wallinder equalized to 2-2 in the second period.
And in the third, a lead goal came when Linus Sandin in box play broke a pass that gave him a free position where he made it 3-2.
At that point, the shots were 11-1 to Leksand in the period.
Leksand pushed the period out.
But a great play by Christoffer Rifalk in Röglekassen, who saved a total of 36 shots in the match, would keep the match close.
Something which means that the teams already tomorrow play a third and directly decisive round of 16 in Leksand.
