Halfway into the first period, Jesper Bratt scored his first goal of the match.

After a conversion, Jack Hughes found the Swede who took the puck with him before pulling it to 2-0 for New Jersey.

In the second period it was time again.

A weak goalkeeping intervention in Carolina allowed Hughes to snatch the puck and get it into the goal where Bratt, lying in the goal yard, made it 3-0.

- There have been a few games when I haven't had the bounces with me, but I've worked very hard with the agent and my mental coach Andy Swärd and trusted what I'm doing.

In the end, there will be a bounce in front of the box like the one tonight and then you put it there, says Bratt.

- It was definitely nice that the puck went in now, it will be a small boost for self-confidence.

In the last period, they shut down effectively and the victory in the division final was recorded as 3-0.

Bratt has now scored 27 goals this season, which is a new personal best.
