First race of two in Neom in Saudi Arabia in the extreme electric car series.

Then it was almost fully loaded with Swedes in the final where three out of five final teams had at least one Swedish driver.

And the car that was first across the finish line was the one with the all-Swedish driver team consisting of Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky and Johan Kristoffersson.

However, the team received a 136-second penalty for speeding in a slow zone, which dropped them to third and gave the win to Hansen and Taylor.

- Johan started fantastically but then I made a mistake in the slow zone, so it was a bit unfortunate but in the end it was good work by the whole team, says Åhlin-Kottulinsky.

- It's always nice to end up on the podium, but it's not so nice to cross the finish line first without winning, says Kristoffersson.

In second place came Mattias Ekström and the Spaniard Laia Sanz.

During Sunday, the second part of the competition is run in Saudi Arabia.
