In the final came the showdown between overall World Cup leader Reece Howden and David Mobärg (second overall).

Both riders went strong all the way to the front where Howden won all his heats and Mobärg had two wins and two second places until the final.

Once in the final, it was Howden who took the lead from the start, with Mobärg in second place.

But Howden made a small mistake that allowed Mobärg to overtake shortly before the finish and take his seventh career World Cup victory, the third of the season.

- It feels great to be on top again, I like this course.

I managed to do what was required and am really happy to win, says Mobärg in Viaplay's broadcast.

Brother Erik Mobärg also participated, but he went directly to the round of 16, after the WC bronze two weeks ago.

Elliot Baralo went out in the round of 16 and Fredrik Nilsson made it to the quarter-finals.
