The WC in Planica ended in disappointment for Jens Burman.

On the final lap of the five-mile, the 28-year-old was in the top group that would settle for the medals - but suddenly he fell in a curve and his strength ran out.

The explanation behind the Swedish crash: "He wobbled in front of me"

- There is no point in brooding and thinking "what if I had stood on my feet and participated, what could have happened then?", says Burman now.

Tomorrow, just six days after the WC five-mile, Burman will have a chance for revenge.

But the fact that it is so close between the races has been criticized, therefore the international skiing federation, Fis, will review the program.

- Ideally, the break between would have been longer and in the future we will cooperate with the Norwegian Skiing Federation and other national skiing federations to find the best possible date for the Holmenkollen, as it is one of our iconic events, says competition manager Michal Lamplot to NRK.

But Burman doesn't mind driving another five miles already tomorrow.

- There shouldn't be any problems, I think it has felt good this week and you still have six days to recover.

- Yes, we must stand on our feet in any case.

I absolutely want to ride better than I did in the five-mile at the WC.
