Malte Stefansson takes Samuelsson's place in the team that won bronze at the WC a few weeks ago.

Earlier this winter, the relay men have a second place, two fourth places and a tenth place in the relay.

When Samuelsson's covid test showed that he was infected, national team leader Johannes Lukas said that he had mild symptoms and that the hope was that Samuelsson could be back for the weekend's competitions.

Nelin takes the starting distance

But it won't be like that.

Those running the relay over 4x7.5 km are Jesper Nelin, Malte Stefansson, Martin Ponsiluoma and Peppe Femling.

The men's race starts at 4:30 p.m.

The ladies start at 14:00

The ladies line up with the same skaters who took WC bronze in Oberhof – Linn Persson, Anna Magnusson, Elvira Öberg and Hanna Öberg.

The ladies run 4x6 km and the relay starts at 2 p.m.

The Swedes started the season with a relay victory in Kontiolax and have since been second twice and third once.
