How did Sweden do last time?

Sweden played its last major championship in 2022. Then it was a heartbreaking 0-4 loss in the EC semi-final against the host nation England.

England later took home the entire tournament after a 2-1 final win against Germany.

In the last World Cup tournament, which was played in France in 2019, the USA became world champion after 2-0 in the final against the Netherlands.

The Netherlands knocked out Sweden 1-0 in the semi-finals.
