Chelsea qualified for the quarter-finals of the European Football Champions League, by defeating its guest Borussia Dortmund, Germany, with two unanswered goals, in the second leg of the round of sixteen.

The "Blues" took revenge for their defeat in the first-leg match with a goal without a response, and excelled in the total results of the two-legged matches, 2-1.

Chelsea won with a goal in each half scored by Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling, respectively, and the referee canceled two goals in favor of the English team.

Sterling led Chelsea one minute before the end of the first half, then Havertz added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 53rd minute.

In Lisbon, Portugal's Benfica qualified for the same role by defeating its Belgian guest, Club Brugge, 5-1.

The first leg ended with Benfica winning with two goals without a response, so that the Portuguese team excelled in the aggregate of the two matches, 7-1.

Rafa Silva advanced with a goal for Benfica in the 38th minute, and in the second minute of stoppage time for the first half, Goncalo Ramos assumed the championship role and scored the second goal for Benfica, and the same player returned and scored his second and third goal for Benfica in the 57th minute.

Benfica won a penalty kick, from which Joao Mario scored the fourth goal of the Portuguese team in the 71st minute.

The 78th minute saw the fifth goal for Benfica through David Neres.

Two minutes before the end of the match, Bjorn Meyer responded with the only goal for Club Brugge.
