China News Service, March 7th. The Chinese Football Association recently released a notice on the website about the selection of outstanding players in the 2006-2010 age group.
It is mentioned that in order to further promote the selection of young people nationwide, the Chinese Football Association plans to hold a regional elite player training camp in 2023. The selection methods include unit reporting and personal self-recommendation.

Specific requirements are as follows:
1. Unit reporting
(1) Report player conditions
1. Players from school representative teams, sports school representative teams, professional club youth training echelons, social youth training institutions, etc., conform to the Chinese Football Association Youth Training Program "five-ring" player training model of technology, tactics, body, mind and social interaction;
2. Players who were born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2010 and are within the jurisdiction of the member association shall not set barriers and restrictions on player reporting due to the type of team, and there is no limit on the number of players reporting;
3. According to the "Phasewise Evaluation Criteria for the Athletic Ability of Chinese Young Players (2021 Edition)" issued by the Chinese Football Association, all 6 achievements must reach the good level, and at least 4 must reach the excellent level;
4. Players participating in the first or second China Youth Football League National Finals in 2022 or 2023;
5. Players participating in the 2023 Chinese Football Association Youth Championship (member association group, key city group, professional club group);
6. Players of the team represented by the team that participated in the highest level competition of the corresponding age group of the member association in 2022 or 2023 and achieved the top 8 results in the competition.
2. Personal recommendation
(1) Conditions for self-recommended players
1. Comply with the Chinese Football Association Youth Training Program "Five Rings" player training model of technology, tactics, body, mind and social interaction;
2. Born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2010;
3. According to the "Phasewise Evaluation Criteria for the Athletic Ability of Chinese Young Players (2021 Edition)" issued by the Chinese Football Association, all 6 achievements must reach the good level, and at least 4 must reach the excellent level;
4. Players participating in the first or second China Youth Football League National Finals in 2022 or 2023;
5. Players participating in the 2023 Chinese Football Association Youth Championship (member association group, key city group, professional club group);
6. Players of the team represented by the team that participated in the highest level competition of the corresponding age group of the member association in 2022 or 2023 and achieved the top 8 results in the competition;
7. Players who have participated in competitions other than the ones mentioned above and achieved excellent results.
