Jesper Boqvist two-goal shooter in the New Jersey Devils' victory

Never before has Jesper Boqvist scored more than one goal in an NHL game.

But in tonight's meeting with the Coyotes, the Swede was behind both 2-1 and 4-2.

- I've had some chances recently so it felt good to get these two in, says Boqvist after the match according to TT.

But before Boqvist got on the score sheet, Timo Meier, who made his Devils debut after moving from the San Jose Sharks, had become the scorer.

After nine minutes of match time with his new club, he found the net.

- A fantastic way to start.

I think that in general I need to adapt to the game here, but it's definitely fun to get two points here tonight, he says.

By full time, however, the Coyotes had caught up, going from 4-2 to 4-4.

However, the extension was not a long story, as Nico Hischier decided after just 23 seconds in favor of the Devils.
