A new wax statue is appearing at the famous Grévin museum in Paris this Monday: that of footballer Antoine Griezmann.

The French striker finds other stars of the round ball, such as Kylian Mbappé or Zinedine Zidane.

He showed his "pride" in the program "Europe 1 Sport".

Antoine Griezmann has his statue.

The France team striker entered the Grévin museum on Monday, alongside other football stars such as Zinédine Zidane and Kylian Mbappé.

The Frenchman showed his "pride" on the

program (every evening from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.).

It's "very successful, and with a smile as I like. I'm very happy and very proud," enthused the Atlético Madrid player.

Other foreign football stars have also had the honor of being enthroned in the famous Parisian museum, with King Pelé, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

"It is very well done," then continued Antoine Griezmann at the microphone of Jean-François Pérès.

Grateful

Planned since 2020, the statue of the native of Mâcon could not be installed due to the pandemic.

The appointment long awaited by Antoine Griezmann (and his supporters) has finally taken place.

The reaction of the football player, when discovering his statue, caused a little shock: he said to himself "a little shocked too because it's also weird to see his double" in a tone of fun.

Now that it is installed, the Blues striker "hopes to bring many young people back to the Grévin museum".

An opportunity "to take a little photo" with him, even if he is… wax.

Antoine Griezmann should meanwhile find the Blues shortly.

The coach of the Blues Didier Deschamps must communicate his list of players summoned for the Qualifying for Euro 2024 on March 16 at 2 p.m.
