Following the successful hosting of the WTT World Cup Finals in October last year, Xinxiang has once again become the host city for the world's top players to compete for the WTT title.
It is reported that 32 top male and female players in the world will participate in the WTT Xinxiang Championship, and the champion will receive 1,000 ITTF world ranking points, which is very important for improving the player's world ranking.

ITTF Group CEO Steve Denton said: "Holding the WTT series in Xinxiang for two consecutive seasons proves the trust of the ITTF Group in Xinxiang, and the continuous holding of WTT high-level events will bring more benefits to the host city. Worldwide publicity and promotion."
The WTT World Table Tennis Federation has confirmed three WTT championship matches in the 2023 season. Xinxiang will become the host city of this season's championship together with Macau, China and Frankfurt, Germany.
