At the world junior figure skating championships held in Canada on the 4th, the men's single free skate was held, and 17-year-old Yoshio Miura landed three quadruple jumps, leaving the second place and below far behind. I won my first victory.

The World Junior Championships was held in Calgary, Canada on the 4th, and the second half of the men's singles was free, and Miura, who finished the short program, appeared last among the contestants.

The combination jump from the triple axel at the beginning got a high performance score, and although the quadruple toe loop that followed was disturbed, the quadruple Salchoh landed cleanly.

In the second half of the performance, I decided to jump continuously with a quadruple toe loop and a triple toe loop, and I skated to the music of the movie "Beauty and the Beast" with great expressiveness.

Miura's free skate score was 179.63, with a total score of 264.74.

He is the sixth Japanese player to win the men's singles title at the World Junior Championships, following Shoma Uno in 2015.

Miura won the Four Continents Championships last month as the youngest player in history and won his first victory, and has made great strides this season.

Among other Japanese players, 19-year-old Nozomi Yoshioka finished in 3rd place.
