Towards the end of the men's WC five-mile race, Jens Burman was in the top group that would settle for the medals.
But the 28-year-old fell in a curve, fell behind and when he was about to catch up, his strength ran out.
After eighth place, Burman is clearly disappointed.
- This is not what I dream of and not what I train for.
An eighth place is not something I am proud of, he says.
"Jump to"
The Swede talks about his crash.
- I simply lose my balance.
I think William (Poromaa) wobbled in front of me and reflexively I jump.
I think he will fall and then I will lose my balance myself, he says.
Norwegian Pål Golberg won the race ahead of Johannes Hösflot Kläbo.
The bronze went to William Poromaa.
