At the age of only 24, Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, snatched the throne of the historic scorers for the French club, after he removed the Argonaut Edinson Cavani.

Mbappe scored the fourth goal for Saint-Germain against Nantes in the match that took place at the Princes’ Park on March 4, 2023, within the 26th round of the French League, to raise his score to 201 goals.

And in just 5 years, Mbappe removed many of the club's historic scorers from his path. We get to know the owners of the top ten positions in the following lines:

10 - Carlos Bianchi (70 goals)

Although the Argentine striker is in the 10th place in the list of Paris Saint-Germain's historical goalscorers, he has the highest goalscoring rate.

Bianchi played only two seasons with Paris between 1977 and 1979, during which he appeared in 79 matches, scoring 70 goals, at a rate of 1.12 goals per game.

9- Raymond Souza "Ray" (72 goals)

The Paris Saint-Germain station was the only European experience in the career of the famous Brazilian star as “Ray”, and he played with him for 5 years (1993-1998).

The Brazilian player, who won the 1994 World Cup in the United States with his country, scored 72 goals in 215 games.

8- Safit Susik (85 goals)

The player of Bosnian origin wore the Paris Saint-Germain shirt from 1982 to 1991, after joining him from Spain's Sporting Gijon.

Sosek appeared on the green rectangle in the blue shirt in 345 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored 85 goals, which placed him in eighth place in the Saint-Germain scorers list.

7- Angel Di Maria (93 goals)

After an experiment that can be said to be a failure, Di Maria left Manchester United in search of another team through which to regain his luster and brilliance.

The Argentine star chose to travel to the capital of lights and sign for Paris Saint-Germain on the sixth of August 2015, and he continued there until he gave everything he had for 7 seasons, and during this period Di Maria scored 93 goals in 295 games, although he was not an outright striker.

6- Dominic Roshitsu (100 goals)

The French striker, who joined Paris Saint-Germain from Saint-Etienne in the summer of 1980, is the first player to reach the three-digit barrier with the French capital club.

Rochesto, the second Frenchman on this list, scored 100 times in 255 games, from 1980 to 1987.

5- Pedro Miguel Carrero "Pauletta" (109 goals)

Within 5 years, Portuguese striker Pauleta has secured his place in the list of historic Paris Saint-Germain scorers, by signing 109 goals in 211 matches.

Pauletta joined Paris in July 2003, coming with his compatriot Bordeaux, and continued with the team until the summer of 2008.

4- Neymar da Silva (118 goals)

The Brazilian star arrived in the ranks of the Parisian team in August 2017, coming from Barcelona for 222 million euros, a deal that made him the most expensive football player in history until this moment.

Neymar scored a total of 118 goals in 173 games, and the balance could have been more than that had it not been for the many injuries to the player, some of which were for a long time.

But there is still time for Neymar to score more, especially since he is still a player in the ranks of Paris, and has a contract with the team until June 30, 2025.

3- Zlatan Ibrahimovic (156 goals)

The veteran Swedish striker is considered the second highest goalscorer with Paris Saint-Germain, with 0.87 goals per game, after Carlos Bianchi.

Ibrahimovic, who played for the Parisian team from 2012 to 2016, scored 156 goals in 180 matches.

2- Edinson Cavani (200 goals)

Cavani arrived in the French capital, Paris, on July 16, 2013, from Napoli, Italy, to defend the Saint-Germain shirt until he left for Manchester United in the fall of 2020.

During that period, the player nicknamed "The Matador" participated with Paris in 301 matches in all tournaments, in which he scored 200 times.

Cavani sat on the throne of Saint-Germain's top scorers alone until Mbappe equalized with him on February 26, 2023, with his two goals against Marseille's goal in the "Classico" France, before permanently removing him from him a week later.

1- Kylian Mbappe (201)

The young star became the top scorer for Paris Saint-Germain in all tournaments on March 4, 2023.

With his goal against Nantes, Mbappe reached his 201st goal after appearing in the Saint-Germain shirt in 247 games, to remove Cavani from the throne and sit on him alone, unchallenged.

Of course, Mbappe can enhance this balance even more, especially since he is linked to a contract with Paris that extends until June 30, 2025.

It is noteworthy that Paris had contracted with Mbappe in August 2017, coming from Monaco on loan, before finally joining him the following summer.
