Double reigning world champion Max Verstappen won the Bahrain Grand Prix, the inaugural round of the Formula 1 season, on Sunday, ahead of his teammate at Red Bull Sergio Pérez.
Spaniard Fernando Alonso completes the podium for his first race with Aston Martin.
Announced as Verstappen's main rival this season, Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) had to retire in the last third of the race, victim of a mechanical problem.
