Haak is back in Italy where she played for two years between 2017 and 2019 in Scandicci outside Florence.

Now the nearest major city is Venice.

Conegliano is half an hour away and is about the same size as "Bella's" hometown Ängelholm.

- For me, it is much better to live in a smaller town.

I like it when it's a bit calmer, Istanbul was very fast paced.

I was quite stressed in myself last year and think that a change of environment was needed.

Spreads joy in the team

Haak's importance to the club's success is obvious.

But in addition to world-class smashes, serves and blocks, there are other things that impress just as much in the new clubmates.

- She is perhaps the world's best player right now, but also as a person she is a team player, always there with a smile.

She is the kindest person you can imagine.

There is not a bad word to say about her, says Dutch clubmate Robin de Kruijf.

Best in the world?

Haak's mere presence in a team seems to create victories.

Since the EC 2021 exit in the quarter-finals with Sweden, she has won nine straight titles in international tournaments and championships.

An almost incomparable result.

- Yes, since Turkey it has gone quite well, she says with a smile.

- It's always the same feeling, even if you've experienced it before.

It's a rush of happiness and a kind of relief I haven't felt from anything else.

Getting to do it again and with a new team contributes to it being a new feeling and very cool, says the 195 centimeter tall Scanian.

Right now there is a lot to say that Isabelle Haak is the world's best volleyball player.

- She is incredible, in just a few years she has developed enormously.

But she can still get even better because she is still so young, says Conegliano's coach Daniele Santarelli.
