In memory of the death of Hiromitsu Kadota, who hit a total of 567 home runs, the third highest in professional baseball history, a wreath stand has been set up at Softbank's headquarters in Fukuoka City.

Mr. Kadota played professional baseball in Nankai, etc., and recorded a total of 567 home runs and 1,678 RBIs, which is the third highest in history, and was active as a home run hitter representing the baseball world.

At the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka City, the home of Softbank, whose predecessor was Nankai, a flower stand was set up on the 5th in memory of Mr. Kadota's death in January this year.

Sadaharu Oh, chairman of SoftBank's baseball team, and Hiroshi Fujimoto, head coach of the SoftBank baseball team, visited the wreath stand and laid flowers.

The chairman of the Oh baseball team is the "home run king of the world" who has hit a total of 868 home runs, the highest in professional baseball history.

Manager Fujimoto graduated from Tenri High School in Nara, the same as Mr. Kadota, and was a teammate at Nankai and Daiei.

The chairman of the Oh baseball team said, "He wasn't big, but he had a big swing. I think it's great that he challenged himself and became the home run king. Don't forget his aspirations and tell the young people. I want to go," he said.

The flower offering stand is set up until 5:00 pm on the 5th.
