According to SVT's expert Mathias Fredriksson, directly after the races the media openly saw the race or the team selection.

- The usual thing historically was that you talked to each other first before making a statement, he says.

There was criticism before too, but then they didn't say it openly?

- There was definitely before as well, but then they chose not to say anything.

But I can find it quite liberating and nice that the riders are so outspoken.

The expert's criticism: "Communication is lacking"

According to Fredriksson, the statements indicate that there is dissatisfaction in the national team.

Something Calle Halfvarsson also confirmed to Aftonbladet after today's race, linked to the fence conflict that arose after the women's relay.

- I think on many occasions there are gaps in communication from the team management.

These little things that are happening now during the World Cup indicate a frustration and that the communication is not good enough at the moment, says the expert.

National team manager Anders Byström disagrees.

- The communication is very frequent and good, I think.

I understand that it looks strange when you say such things afterwards (in the media after the race).

But it looks worse right after a race than it is.

Everyone is starting to get a bit tired now towards the end of the championship as well and is closer to emotions and you have to respect that.
