A former sumo wrestler was forced to retire in January, the year before the declaration of an emergency due to the new corona, was not allowed due to anxiety about infection, and was forced to retire. I have filed a lawsuit with the Matsudo Branch of the Chiba District Court seeking payment of alimony.

The lawsuit was filed by General Yanagihara (25), a former Kotonuki iron wrestler at the Sadogatake stable in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture.

According to the complaint, he requested the Japan Sumo Association to take a break through Master Sadogatake due to concerns about infection due to heart disease at the first place of the year when the new corona was being declared an emergency.

However, he was forced to retire because he was not allowed to rest and his master explained the association's policy that ``it is not allowed to rest due to fear of corona''.

On top of that, we are asking the Japan Sumo Association and Sadogatake master to pay more than 4.1 million yen in total as compensation, etc., saying that the response is unjust.

Yanagihara held a press conference in Matsudo on the 2nd, saying, "My master forced me to choose, 'I have no choice but to leave or quit,' and I couldn't replace my life. I wish the master and the association would respond more flexibly. I said.
