In the 74th minute of the Milan and Atalanta match - last Monday - the Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan striker, participated as a substitute for Frenchman Olivier Giroud, after an absence of 9 months from the stadiums.

"Al-Sultan" documented his exhausting recovery journey from the injury in a video he posted on his official account on Instagram, and attached it to the phrase "he doubted me."

And "Ibra" suffered a serious knee injury last season, which prompted him to undergo surgery, and to be absent for about 280 days from the stadiums.

And Ibrahimovic (41 years and 146 days) became the oldest player in Milan's history to play a match in the Italian league with his modern system.

Regarding his treatment, Ibrahimovic explained that "3 weeks ago I wasn't feeling well, then something happened those days more than what happened in the past 8 months."

And he continued, "I always felt constrained because my knee was swollen, but I have experience relying on the other knee, I know I needed time and patience."

He concluded, "If I am in the same condition I am in now, I will continue to play for a few more years, not just during the next season."

The match ended with the "Rossoneri" defeating Atalanta with two goals without a response, and its rise to third place in the Italian league standings table, with 47 points, with a goal difference from runner-up rivals Inter.
