A Swiss report published shocking news regarding a former soccer player who committed a crime in which he killed one of the drug smugglers in France.

And the Swiss newspaper “Tribune de Genève” said that a player (whose name was not mentioned) who played in the second division in the country, and defended the colors of the Lancy FC and Igli FC in Switzerland, confessed to killing a 44-year-old gangster.

In the details of the incident, the player was supposed to receive money on June 16, 2018, for selling an amount of drugs earlier.

When the dead man informed the player that he had not brought the money, the player dealt a fatal blow to the head of the "gang leader" with a baseball bat.

The player admitted that the crime occurred in the basement of his parents' house in the French city of Lyon, but he dumped the man's body in Lake Geneva.

The aforementioned player was unable to bury the body quickly, so he placed it in a large sleeping bag inside the trunk of his car for 3 days, until he found a way to get rid of it.

The player went to Lake Geneva, used an inflatable boat and sailed the body for two hours, before dumping it in.

The case is still under investigation, as the judge decided to complete the necessary procedures for that, provided that the verdict is pronounced between 9 and 12 May 2023 at the Lyon Criminal Court.

And the French newspaper confirmed that until this moment, the location of the body has not been determined.
