The Japan Cup, which competes for the best sport climbing and lead in Japan, was held in Chiba Prefecture, and 19-year-old Shusai Mori won the tournament for the fourth consecutive time in women, and 16-year-old Shion Omata won the first time in men.

The sport climbing lead is an event that competes to see how far you can climb a wall of 12 meters or more in one shot, and the Japan Cup, which competes for the best in Japan, was held on the 26th in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture.

Among them, 16-year-old Omata climbed up the mountain at a good tempo by taking advantage of the length of his limbs.

He powerfully cleared the difficult holds in the middle stage, and although he missed the climb to the end, he won his first victory.

Omata said, "I don't feel like I've won the championship, so I think it's a dream. I want to do my best in practice with the goal of winning the World Cup."

In both cases, 18-year-old Oto Suzuki came in 2nd and Tomone Yoshida took 3rd, giving the podium to all teens.

On the other hand, in the women's event, Ms. Mori, who is good at this event, took advantage of her strength in holding the hold and carefully raised the altitude.

However, at the end of the race, there was little time left, and although she showed tenacity, she was unable to complete the climb.

Despite this, Mori, who finished first in both the qualifying and semi-finals, climbed the highest and won the tournament, winning her fourth straight victory.

Mori said, "I feel like I've lost the assignment and it's frustrating. She wants to go to the competition so she can get closer to the Paris Olympics."

The same 19-year-old Natsuki Tanii was in 2nd place, Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Namo Nonaka was 3rd, and Futaba Ito, who won the Japan Cup of this year's bouldering, was 4th.
