The long-distance star Ida Dahl set a high speed from the start in today's Tjejvasan and after a short while she set off together with the Norwegians Magni Smedås and Emilie Fleten.

But slightly worse skiing than the competitors meant that Dahl had a harder day, especially at the beginning of the race.

- I worked extremely hard the first 15 kilometers.

Became sprint time

In the end there was a sprint battle between the three, where Fleten had to give up.

Magni Smedås instead looked to be heading for victory, but Ida Dahl made a strong comeback and passed the Norwegian in the last meter.

- I thought it's not over until it's over.

It's super fun, I'm really happy, says Dahl in SVT's broadcast.

"Is completely exhausted"

After finishing, she got to see the drama on the big screen and had the feeling that she was ahead.

- I thought I felt a little ahead, but you never know, you're completely exhausted.

Forge:

- Ida was strong in the sprint today.

There was a strong starting field in Tjejvasan, and many Ski Classic top skiers chose to use the race as a refresher before next Sunday's Vasaloppet.

World Cup rider Moa Lundgren finished fourth in her first Tjejvasan, 1.50 behind the winner.
